| The
Color Scheme of each
peice was dictated by
nature. No paint,dye
or stain was applied.
No spray pr lacquer
was used to acheive
the shine and dazzle
in each carving. Each
peiece of hardwood used
has been air dried for
between two to five
years . After hand carving
hammer,chisels and a
variety of of carving
knives, the wood is
now thoroughly sanded
by hand. Various grades
of sand paper are used
from the very coarse
to the finest grit.
The sanding process
is repeated for hours
over a few days to several
months depending on
the size and level of
detail on the individual
piece to acheive the
incredible level of
hand finishing you see. |
